Project Engineer (S Division) (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

  • The project engineer has to develop stamping parts acc. Customer drawings & requirements. Project development from the order phase to serial run; until the project dies.
  • Planning and calculation of stamping and fine blanking processes and several additional technologies (for example grinding, tumbling, milling, turning and manual washing steps) in close co-operation with sales, production and related service departments like tool shop.
  • Agreements between planning and customer has to be planned, that processes can reach customer requirements (0-failure target, ppm-aim).
  • Creating a detailed project plan and time schedule.
  • Studying of improvement possibilities on the market regarding processes in implementation in KL.
  • Continuous rationalization of production processes of serial products. Clean up of uneconomical projects or negative results.
  • Systematically process optimization together with technologists (stamping/fine blanking, grinding, machining,…)
  • Technical customer support (development, technical purchasing) in co-operation with sales and quality, guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous updates of working plans (target/actual performance comparison), improvement action together with related departments.
  • Creation and updates of Master Data’s.
  • Planning and manufacturing of samples in co-operation with tool shop, production and/or relevant departments.
  • In charge of APQA & PPAP for new products, create related technical documents and specifications according to automotive rules and standards.
  • Creation of production related documents like working plans or instructions and failure catalogues.
  • Give training to the operators about the created documents.
  • Other assignments delegated by the technical manag

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree, Mechanical or Tool related.
  • Careful work and with team work spirit.
  • Good communicating skills.
  • English fluent in spoken and writing.
