130th anniversary of KERN-LIEBERS

The 130th anniversary of KERN-LIEBERS was celebrated with a family day

06/16/2018

On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of KERN-LIEBERS a family day was held on 16 June at the main plant in Schramberg. The organizing team under the leadership of the plant manager in Schramberg, Mr. Thorsten Litzenberg, was pleased after a long preparation time that almost all employees registered for the family day and a total of 3,400 visitors appeared. Among the guests were our employees with their families, the shareholders and management board members, the new apprentices and our company pensioners.

An informative tour of the factory brought the visitors closer to our different production areas and technologies. Exciting stations, such as the eggcup production or the creation of a cube-shaped keychain in the middle of the tour, illustrated the impressions gained and were a nice reminder of this special day.

In the large pavilion on the premises there was plenty of food and drinks for all visitors. Some guests treated themselves to a delicious soft ice cream.

For entertainment, 32 musicians played the KERN-LIEBERS brass band, followed by the music group Mühle Express on Tour. Also our little guests expected an exciting entertainment program with the JUKS-Spielmobil, a large bouncy castle, face painting and a jaunt on the equipped go-kart track.

In the large truck from Südwestmetall, those who were interested could inform themselves about apprenticeship in metalworking.

The Chairman of the Management Board, Dr. Udo Schnell, welcomes the guests and was grateful for the excellent organization. He motivated the employees to proudly show their families their jobs. "At the end of our family day, many of us will go home with the certainty that KERN-LIEBERS is a great family," says Udo Schnell.
