Since 1954 Kurt Meder GmbH has been producing in Schwenningen - a center for precision mechanics in Germany - precision springs in small and bery small sizes.With 150 employees,the company will achieve a turnover of 14 million in the current fiscal year. The product range encompasses tension,compression,and torsion springs,bent wire and punch-wire components,as well as microsprings for medical engineering and sensor engineering.Up to 20,000 springs can be manufactured from 1 gram of material.Meder products are primarily used in the precision,optical,and electro-technical industreds,as well as in the vehicle,communication and medical sectors.

The KERN-LIEBERS group has had a majority holding in the company since 2002.Since then Meder has been able to pursue targeted expansion via the group's international channels.
